Twin bomb blasts hit Afghan town

--BBC--

At least six people have been killed by two bomb attacks in the eastern Afghan town of Khost, officials say.

More than 20 others were injured, including a number of children. Some reports put the death toll higher.

One of the blasts went off outside a government building. It is not clear who was behind the attacks.

Meanwhile, three soldiers were killed and four others injured when a suicide bomber attacked a military patrol in Kandahar province, officials say.
