Twin bomb blasts hit Afghan town

At least six people have been killed by two bomb attacks in the eastern Afghan town of Khost, officials say. More than 20 others were injured, including a number of children. Some reports put the death toll higher. One of the blasts went off outside a government building. It is not clear who was behind the attacks. Meanwhile, three soldiers were killed and four others injured when a suicide bomber attacked a military patrol in Kandahar province, officials say.
