Neither of the two people on board were injured in the incident on the New Jersey Turnpike, about five miles (8km) east of Philadelphia. Turnpike Authority spokesman Joe Orlando said the plane was believed to be involved in traffic reports for radio and TV stations. He expected police to move the plane on to a truck for removal, he said.
